In reply to Debra Weimer. I can understand that! I love some of the more overtly themed resorts too, like Art of Animation. I think this one has stayed a bit muted due to the fact that it's a convention hotel too. And sometimes it's fun to hunt for the subtle nods! It's like wearing a basic suit with funny socks :)

New rooms look nice but I have to admit I miss the Disney theming that is being removed throughout Disney. Not everyone likes the Nuevo look example the Disney store at Disney Springs. The old decors are what set Disney apart from the box hotels. But I do like the wood like flooring and showers vs shower curtains.

At the moment, the Disney website is directing Guests to the bus stop at the main entrance of Coronado Springs resort, that does run through the other stops within the resort before heading to the parks. I have heard that Gran Destino will get its own bus stop, but at the moment it's not clear if it will be designated or also share with the rest of the resort. I'll update as soon as I hear!

Do you know if the Gran Destino Tower will have its own dedicated bus or will all those additional people also be loaded onto the already over-crowded buses for the original Coronado Springs? We’re planning a trip in Feb 2020 and Coronado is on our list of possibles (still waiting for Disney to release their 2020 resort prices) but not if the new tower building isn’t going to have its own dedicated park buses.

In reply to Rachel Strange. From what I can tell all Guests are in refurbished rooms now. You may have some construction noise from other work around the resort, but in my experience they do a really great job of minimizing that. I hope you have a wonderful trip!!

HI! We just booked a vacation for this coming October and will be staying at Coronado Springs. Do you know if the renovations are being completed in all of the rooms or just certain areas of the resort?

In reply to Alberta. Hi Alberta, the restaurants are mostly in the main building where you check in. Depending on where your room is, it may be a bit of a walk. That said, if you have a preferred room, you should be a little closer. Also, there are several bus stops around the resort so you do have the option on hopping on the nearest one and getting off at the main building. I recommend going to the front desk when you arrive (even if you have online checkin) to remind them of your situation. In my experience, the Cast Members there at the resort will do what they can to make sure you are comfortable. I hope you love your vacation!

What are the restaurants like, we booked two preferred rooms as my husband has muscular dystrophy so needed to be nearer the bus stop and restaurants, have been told there will be less of a walk than the other rooms.
